The Mid-Career Pathways Programme (MCPP) is a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) initiative that supports mid-career individuals aged 40+ to widen their professional networks and gain meaningful industry relevant experience through fulltime attachments (4–6 months) with approved host organisations. Employers provide structured training and are expected to convert suitable trainees to employment if performance is satisfactory.

Early conversion incentive 

  • If you convert a trainee early (after at least three months), funding support on the attachment allowance can continue for the approved duration, subject to programme conditions

  • Have available headcount and commit to hiring upon satisfactory performance, conversion into full-time employment (permanent or contract position of at least 12 months) 

  • Able to pay same or higher salary upon conversion compared to the attachment allowance
